Dubois County Votes
Dubois County Votes is a community initiative from the Dubois County Clerk’s Office designed to boost civic engagement and increase voter turnout. The program provides clear election information, promotes voter participation, and encourages residents to make their voices heard in every local, state, and national election.
The challenge
The Dubois County Clerk’s Office approached us for a cohesive, eye-catching branding initiative, including primary logos, alternate marks, and bilingual versions. The challenge: election branding is often confined to red, white, blue, and predictable stars and stripes. They needed something fresher… fun, yet professional.
Our solution
We set out to check all the boxes. The primary color is a brighter, modern blue that stands apart from the predictable red-white-blue palette. A checkmark integrated into the logo doubles as the “V” in Votes, creating a look that’s fresh, approachable, and unmistakably tied to participation. It feels energetic without losing the professionalism expected from an official initiative.
Most importantly, the branding reflects the spirit of Dubois County Votes, a program designed to inform, empower, and motivate residents to participate in every election. The visual identity supports that mission by being clear, welcoming, and confident.
