Jasper Arts

The Jasper Community Arts Commission, officially recognized as a city department in 1975, holds a unique position as the only arts commission of its kind in Indiana. With a mission to stimulate appreciation for and participation in the arts across all ages, the Commission serves as a cultural cornerstone for Jasper and the surrounding region.

The challenge

With its 50th anniversary approaching in 2025, the challenge presented was to develop a cohesive brand identity that reflects the rich legacy, civic integration, and inclusive vision of Jasper Arts. The brand should capture the vibrancy, accessibility, and community spirit of the arts in Jasper—uniting tradition with forward-thinking creativity to inspire engagement and pride. In addition, the new identity should establish a consistent and recognizable presence across all of the Commission’s locations and event spaces, creating a unified brand experience across platforms, venues, and touchpoints.

Our solution

To honor the 50-year legacy of Jasper Arts and position it for future growth, the new brand identity is rooted in storytelling, community connection, and visual harmony. The design system incorporates a modern aesthetic that embraces its forward-looking mission. A unified logo suite, color palette, and typography was developed to represent the diversity of programming and venues under a single cohesive brand. Visual cues and messaging emphasize accessibility, creativity, and civic pride, making the brand easily recognizable across print, digital, signage, and environmental graphics. Each venue or event space was given its own voice within the system—connected by a shared identity that reinforces the role of Jasper Arts as the cultural heartbeat of the city.
