Paper Personality Finder
A free interactive tool. Answer five questions and get a paper recommendation with ink and coating options we produce in house, built around how your brand should feel in someone’s hands.
Tell us what you’re producing. We’ll walk through paper, our in-house specialty inks, and coating options, then help you choose a combination that fits your project.
Request Samples & a Quote
Recommendations are a starting point, not a spec sheet. Our team will
confirm available paper, weight, and compatible ink and coating
combinations for your run size and budget.
Always review samples and proof on your selected paper before production.
Why your paper is doing half the work
Most people pick paper the way they pick a font: whatever’s already loaded. But paper is doing half the work before anyone reads a word. It has a weight, a texture, a way of catching light, and all of it is telling your reader something about who you are before they get past the first line.
Why paper choice actually matters
A logo prints the same on cheap stock and expensive stock. The paper is what tells your hand the difference. That’s not a design opinion, it’s how people actually process a printed piece: touch registers before content does.
We wrote more about this in Why the First Thing Your Brand Should Touch Is Paper. Short version: the piece someone remembers isn’t always the one with the best copy. It’s the one that felt like something.
How we use your result
This quiz gets you close, not exact. Run size, press, and budget all move the final recommendation, which is why the result comes with a real conversation attached instead of a checkout button. Fill out the form below and someone on our team will follow up with actual samples, not just a swatch on a screen.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this recommendation exact?
No, and we said so twice already because it matters. Think of it as a strong starting point. Your printer (us, ideally) still needs to know your run size and budget before anything gets specced for real.
What if I don’t know my run size yet?
Normal. Tell us what you’re leaning toward in the form and we’ll help you figure out the rest. That’s the actual conversation, not a formality before one.
Can you really send physical samples?
Yes. Paper feels nothing like it looks on a screen, so we’d rather put it in your hands than describe it to you.
